About this team

We’re building a team of flexible, creative, loquacious logophiles who are willing and able to write course content on almost any subject. Since content personalization is at the core of our success as a learning experience personalization (LXP) platform, this team is made up of amazing people, committed to providing our customers with a training development process that’s almost too good to be true. 

As a contractor within the Learning Experience Design (LXD) team, you will have the support of a Sr. Learning Experience Designer, as well as subject matter experts provided by our customer. Each LXD contractor will be tasked with the creation of a single course at a time based on a well defined outline of desired course content. This is typically about 6 lessons and 3,000 words in length.

LXD reports up to Journeyage’s Chief Executive Wayfinder, but works very closely with the Learning Experience Management (LXM) and Revenue teams. As a member of the LXD team, you’ll not only work closely with other pros at prose like yourself, but also have the opportunity to learn from our growing tribe of exceptional customer success guides, sales and marketing professionals, product thinkers, and operators. While each person plays an individual role, we are unified in how we move forward together.

What you will do

Everyone who joins our tribe is responsible for creating value, regardless of their role. But that looks a little bit different for everybody. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be responsible to:

  • Craft custom content to wow our customers from the outline stage through completed copy
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure that the course content we create exceeds expectations
  • Manage priorities and due dates to ensure that all content is delivered on time
  • Communicate openly and regularly with the team as to how things are going on each project
  • Collaborate and problem solve with the existing LXD team as needed
